I read that just taking a multivitamin for your health is good, Biotin is a good mineral/vitamin that helps hair grow thick and fast. Check out some sites about biotin and hair, google or yahoo it. Another helpful hint a female friend of mind gave me. She said after she shampoo's her hair she applies conditioner and just leaves it in. Thats all even if it's not a leave in conditioner.

i understand having the right conditioner and not brushing wet hair...but isn't this overdoing it? giving your head a massage and taking extra vitamins so that your stronger for your hair? My hair grows alot faster than half an inch a month, on average its growing about an inch a week... no word of a lie... can you tell me why it grows so fast, bearing in mind i have a shower every morning and shampoo and conditon my hair with an australian formula which isnt cheap.

I find it's helpful to eat higher protein, generally in the form of meat. My nails grow faster like this too, makes sense, as both are made of proteins.
