Your Guide To Aspirin Dandruff Shampoo

Dandruff, also known as seborrheic dermatitis is one of the most common scalp condition experienced by most men worldwide. Caused primarily due to eczema, psoriasis, sensitivity to hair care products or due to frequent or infrequent use of shampoo, dandruff is an embarrassing scalp condition that involves the shedding of white flakes from the scalp.

Although medicated shampoos are one of the most common treatments used to treat dandruff, using crushed aspirin in your shampoo is another great way to get rid of dandruff naturally.

How does Aspirin help treat Dandruff?

Aspirin has a large percentage of salicylic acid, an active ingredient used in many anti- dandruff shampoos. Salicylic acid contains anti-microbial and fungicidal properties that work beneficially to fight white flakes caused by the fungus, helping get rid of dandruff from your scalp.
