Taylor Kitsch was born in Kelowna, British Columbia on April 8, 1981. He has had several starring roles in feature length films, including the Covenant and Snakes on a Plane. Yet his best known role to date is probably the television role of Tim Riggins in the NBC series Friday Night Lights. Currently, Kitsch can be seen on the big screen in the role of Gambit in Xmen: the Origins of Wolverine.

Taylor Kitsch is one of those rare males who is able to wear long hair without looking feminine or odd. A lot of the reason for this is his strong jaw line and the fact that he keeps his body in shape. A man with a beer belly trying to wear this hairstyle would just not look the same.

Known as the Long Beach Wavy hairstyle, Taylor’s hair is about shoulder length. While this style requires a little more care to maintain, especially in the area of keeping it clean, it is still very easy to care for and arrange. It takes little more than a couple of passes with a brush and application of some hairspray or styling product for hold for Taylor to achieve this trademark look.

  1. yes, but, you would have to blow dry the bangs. i would use a paddle brush, (the big rectangle brushes) use the brush and blow dry your bangs directly down your forehead after applying products. i would recommend using something to defend against humidity and frizz, and a liquid gel. first the humid/frizz stuff and then the gel, on damp hair. blow dry the bangs and blow dry the remaining hair, but leave it slightly damp. smooth your hair with your fingers when finished. hope this was helpful!

  2. I am currently trying to get my brother's hair just to set right and not frizz like he put a finger in an electrical socket. He doesn't sit still and has trouble keeping his hair clean, could anyone offer advice on what I should do?

  3. Hey So Im trying to get my hair to look like his. I have straight brown/black hair and I been growing it out for about 2 months now and I still got a pretty long way to go but I was wondering how should I start preparing my hair for this style, like should I start brushing it back or gelling it some way? (sounds like a dumb question lol) and what is the name of this hair style?

    • Ars,
Couple years later and here’s a reply for your questions haha. This hairstyle is called flow, invented by the hockey players(the actor who plays Riggins IS Canadian..). Once your bangs start to get close to eye level, use some water & comb that sucker back, sides too, and throw a hat on. Do this every day for a few months and your hair will naturally flow back. See Erik Karlsson for flow references.
