Kim JunSu Hairstyles

He bags the title of best cute Asian male – well he is none other than Kim JunSu one of the members and the lead singer of the boy band named DBSK from Seoul, South Korea.

Talented, cute, sweet, funny, innocent – Kim Jun Su is loved and supported by all, be it girls who were former Miss Koreas (because Jun Su’s mom is a former Miss Korea) or average South Koreans.

Though this Sagittarian is the most innocent and bright boy in the band, this apparent pretty delicate looking guy sets the stage ablaze with his charismatic stage performance.

Born on December 15, 1986, Kim Jun Su in his early years wanted to become an athlete and was in the baseball and soccer team. But it was after he saw H.O.T on TV that he wanted to be a stage singer.

Inspired by the unachieved dream of his mother, Kim Jun Su stepped into singing and was a good singer right from his junior high years. Through a televised talent search, he was brought into SM Entertainment at the age of 12. His vocals won over the judges and he went through training for the next six years.

He debuted as Xiah Junsu as he thought that his real name is a short one. Kim Jun Su is the first member to be part of the band DBSK. He soon became the cute and adorable Xiah because of his angelic smile, angelic laugh and won the Asian hearts.

The boyish hairstyle of Kim JunSu is a refreshing change indeed. His mushroom hairstyle added to the cuteness of the Kim Jun Su and is simply loved by his fans. His faux-hawk hair also looked good on him. But his new hairdo brings more shine, making him look cool and very different.

The sexy voice of Kim Jun Su melts many a heart and his smile kills every time he appears on stage! Hope he soon realizes his dream of becoming a star not only in Korea, but a star recognized and loved throughout the continent!

  1. just thought you should know… Junsu is a member of DONG BANG SHIN KI (DBSK debuted in 2003 SM Ent.) NOT 2PM (which is another different and relatively new boyband from JYP Ent. 2PM debuted in 2008)

  3. Actually, most asian people with straight hair can do this style. Last time I got my hair cut this way. But if your hair isn't straight I don't think it can really work for you.

  4. you need to go to special asian salons with pro stylist. you need to layer your hair
use gatsby wax, there are different kinds for different styles, most asian hair is straight but yes you need to flat iron you hair 1st before you wax it up.
or you can perm it straight 😉

  5. Or instead of buying those hard gels, you can use wax too or aloe vera gel since it works the same way and gives your hair that soft look without the hardness and no flaking. But choose the ones without alcohol. Those with alcohol cause flakes. Also I know I can do the profile hair or 2nd hair style. It's due to my weird thick hair. I could never do spikes. FOB is the way.

  6. use Gatsby moving rubber! youtube it to see vids and what each type is used for, that'll help you style your hair like is no matter the length.. its from japan, but in some asian stores in USA and Canada have it.. otherwise you have to order it on-line.

  10. It won't necessarily work as well as hairwax but if you happen to not be able to afford buying wax (like me) you can use very strong gel, and let it dry/blow dry COMPLETELY I mean completely…no wet spots in the middle and then comb out the hardness and it will give basically the same effect, it might take a while and it will flatten a little and you may have to brush off some gel flakes but it will look really nice in the end. I learned this on accident trying to brush out my fauxhawk and i really like the way it looked. The key is making sure you get enough gel and having it dry completely. You might have to play around with how you brush it out or something but it could save a few bucks.
