my hair has the same problem, then i discovered AXE's hair products, expecially the PASTE. w/ hair this long, you have apply product to DRY hair, expecially PASTA or WAX. your hair can only towel dried damp when applying POMADE.

make look natural by using hairspray like get glued or ice. and if u have curly hair use flat iron and then throw on some hairspray, never use gel for a hawk unless i s a real short one.

all you have to do is take your hair chunks at a time, and spray it with a thin layer of hairspray, and then go over it with a straightener real quick.
I promise, it works. and i find it easier to do before bed, and just mess around with it in the morning.
just takes some practice. =D
MAKE SURE YOU CONDITION YOUR HAIR REALLY GOOD WHEN YOU USE A STRAIGHTENER!

i have the same hair style if ur hair is 2 thick just use murays pomade the (orange can) it really works but just a bitch 2 get out of ur hair.
My hair is reely thick. i use fudge unleaded cement! its like spray gel. it works best with straight hair so flat iron it first if ur hair is curly... or wavy! but this stuff holds all day with out looking gelled! it makes ur hair look like it natrually sticks up! its amazing!

i get a fauxhawk when i wake up- its all natural, my hair h=just sticks up
i use butter on my hair it works a treat and the chicks dig it

If your hair is naturally curley and you want to spike your hair into a faux hawk like in those pictures, You will need to Straighten your hair, it might sound weird for a guy, but hey u want hair like that thats what u gotta do. These are the products I use are Called "American Crew Fiber" you can get in walmart, target etc. another one is "bed head wax" they are both around 17 dallors but both work great. I hope this helped
