These are typical rockabilly hairstyle worn by Japanese rockabilly guys. Japanese rockabilly guys usually dance at Yoyogi Park on Sunday. Yoyogi Park is a large city park located adjacent to Harajuku Station, in Tokyo.

how in gods name do you do that
More importantly, WHY in Gods name would anyone want to do that?!
THATS TIGHT WISH I HAD HAIR TO DO THAT
Wouldn't really style my hair like that but jeez, you gotta give em props for getting such impressive lift.
Like seriously epic
They just look like posers to me! Americans adopted that pompadoor look!!!! POSERS!!!! The 50's hoods started that!! ROCK N' ROLL!!!!!!!
probably they need to have that haircut because they their just to darn short

that is like saying American Punk is not possible because it originated in the UK.
Does it really matter who is wearing it, as long as it looks good?
Besides, most Japanese men who wear the pompadour hair are in gangs or are apart of the yakuza.....so I don't think it would be wise to call them a poser, yo.
Stop acting like a douche.
That all have nothing to do with rockabilly !!! Just because they wear fat in their hair, they aren´t rockabilliys. Have you seen the video on Youtube ?! That isn´t rockabilly !!!!! Shame on you
LMAO! They think they are bad ass
Unless they are part of the yakuza's, then they have my full respect.
how do they wear their motorcycle helmets over that?
Well, despite all comments above, I think their hair is rad. These guys are SO awesome. If you had any idea what Japanes culture was like, you'd know how brave and outrageous they are for going out in public like that!
I think their hair is HOT.
you all are stupid, they're cooler than all of yas
These guys looks like my cousins did in the 50's & 60's. Same pompadours, same clothes, same "hard guy" attitudes. Very cool to think they're still out there, doin' what makes 'em happy.
Banzai, boyo-sans!
The 1950s are back in Japan
MUKHA KANG G.A.G.O.!!
you fuckers are messing our original pomp .. you guy look pathetic
None of these guys are Yakuza. The Yakuza are fully tattooed for the most part. It is part of an age old tradition to do so.
Haha! These mofuckas are ballas.
Some of these dudes may be Yakuza, some may not be. You arent required to be FULLY tattooed to be a Yakuza. It's something acquired over time. Plus you can't see much flesh in these pics. If they were tattooed it wouldn't be visible with long sleeves because they would want to keep it hidden to the public.
Most of these comments are purely ignorant. They're rocking a sweet style from a sweet era in American history because they think it was worth a damn. The Japanese have always been known to put perfection in anything they do. Here they've adopted the American Rockabilly style and made it something unique and of their own. Look into something before writing something off you ignorant morons.
+1
great style made into thier own.... like every style should be!
Its too bad we african americans got little to no credit watsoever for starting rock & roll along with that damn lool

check out Peter Bjorn and John "nothing to worry about" music video.....that's where you see this style in full blown view... (even the dancing!)
