How would you describe this haircut to a barber? I'm thinking clean and short around, and a bit messy and longer up top and at the front?

You can say that. But to avoid misunderstanding, you must bring the picture to a barber. You can click the picture above, print it, and then bring it to your barber.
How would you describe Matt Damon's hair from the side? How would i go about asking the barber to my hair similiar to damons from the side?
i think my face would suit Damons style of hair and is it unusual to go in with a picture of what you want? Just never done it before
And also would you ask the barber to use a blade number round the back and sides? Or would the barber simply trim using scissors?
